Dolce Pepe Cocktail

The bell pepper is not something you see often on a cocktail menu.  This signature creation may just change that!  The ripen bell peppers sweet and savory flavor surprisingly pairs perfectly with the smokey Mezcal and Tequila.  I choose the yellow bell pepper but feel free to experiment with any of the bell pepper’s other colorful varieties.

Which jalapeno to choose, red or green?  The difference between these two peppers is simply its age.  A green jalapeno usually picked early in the ripening process so it will be milder, while a red jalapeno is left on the vine to mature.  If you are one of those who can drink lava go ahead and substitute jalapeno for the hottest pepper of your choice.  With no further ado, introducing “Dolce Pepe” full of personality: smokey peppery aroma with a silky smooth texture, just a right amount of sweetness and a touch of heat.
