Cherry Punch Cocktail

There is something about the sweetness of the cherries and the crispness of a cucumber that works together perfectly in this summer cocktail.  If the fresh cherries are not in season you can use the ones from the jar.  Pit fresh cherries and put them in a cocktail shaker.  Add lemon juice, slices of cucumber and mint, and muddle them together.  Add the rest of the ingredients with ice and shake for 30 seconds.  Fill two tall glasses with ice and decorate with long cucumber slices, then strain the cherry-gin mixture over the ice.  Top it off with a splash of Coke to taste.


Cherry Punch
  1. 4 Pitted Cherries
  2. 3 oz Gin
  3. 4 oz Pimms #1
  4. 1 oz Luxardo cherry liqueur
  5. 2 oz Lemon Juice
  6. 2 oz Simple Syrup
  7. Mint leaves
  8. 2 Slices of Cucumber for garnish, plus a couple for muddling
  9. Coke bottle
  1. Muddle pitted cherries, mint, cucumber slices and lemon juice in a shaker.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients together with ice cubes.
  3. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  4. Add ice cubes and cucumber slices to the tall glass.
  5. Strain gin-mixture into the glass and top it off with a splash of Coke.
