Cardamom Pear Sidecar

Published on Nov 8, 2017

As a spice, cardamom is extremely versatile and is known and used all over the world.  Some use it to make medicine, in particular, it is used for digestion problems.  It is also used for common cold, cough and sore throat.  But today I will use it for a cocktail.  The pear and cardamom combination is simply too perfect to ignore.  Problem is, many of us don’t ordinarily keep on hand whole cardamom seeds.  If you cant find it at your local grocery shop, try Whole Pods in Tin box.  Crush the seeds and muddle in a spice mortar.  Shake all ingredients over ice and double strain into a chilled glass.  Don’t forget to garnish it with a slice of pear!
